Tehran is the largest metropolitan city of Iran and the capital of it with a population of around 9 million. It has selected a capital city from Qajar dynasty. Azadi Square
Azadi Square is an inverted “Y”-shaped building that is a monument built to commemorate the 2500th anniversary of the founding of the Persian Empire that symbolized the 2500-year-old Persian Empire.
Golestan Palace
It is the oldest and most marvelous royal palace in Tehran, also known as the Rose Palace. The building is between Khomeini Square and Bazaar then the transportation is easy. It consists of several majestic buildings. The palace has shown the glory and extravagance of the governors of the Qajar dynasty. You can see the Marble Throne Hall, the art gallery (NegarKhane), the Hall of Mirrors, the Pool Palace, the Sun Palace and the Diamond Palace. The Palace in close to the Great Bazaar, we suggest visit the Great Bazaar and have a meal in one of its restaurants.
Carpet Museum of Iran
The Carpet Museum was established by Farah Pahlavi, a queen of the Pahlavi Dynasty. It is an outstanding of Iranian history, culture and art. It has two floors in the first floor there is a permanent exhibition hall and the second floor is a temporary hall. The permanent hall collects thousands of treasures of carpets which were produced in Iran from the 16th to the 20th century. These carpets patterns show the social life, wars, characters, etc.
National Museum
The National Museum of Iran which is located in Emam Khomeini Avenue was established in 1916 and exhibits more than 300,000 historical antiques, including a large amount of treasures left from the ancient Persian Empire. It is the largest archaeological and historical museum in Iran.
